Senior Analog Electronics Engineer
The successful candidate will be part of the Product Development team, responsible for maintaining and evolving existing designs for Greenlight's portfolio of analog electronics products including data acquisition hardware, power channels and diagnostic instruments. This will include maintenance and revision of existing designs to enhance/add functionality, reduce cost, or avoid component obsolescence, and will also include new analog based product designs to further Greenlight's product portfolio.

Extensive experience with precision instrumentation design as well as power electronics design will be required to fulfill this role. Experience with integration of analog designs with embedded systems, certification testing/approvals, and value optimized product design are valuable assets as well.


• Prioritize and manage number of projects simultaneously 

• Actively update and communicate with internal and external customers on the status of their projects 

• Perform product commissioning including configuring, calibrating, and servicing data acquisition systems, load banks and power channels 

• Functionally test equipment against design specifications 

• Analyse trends and patterns in field issues to provide feedback for upgrades and design changes 

• Provide support to Customer Service and Manufacturing groups as required 

• Conduct failure analysis of returned customer systems 


Your Profile and Qualifications: 

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 

• 10 + years precision analog linear electronics design experience 

• 10+ years high power analog circuitry design experience 

• Very experienced in amplifier stability and frequency compensation techniques 

• Experience designing within device safe operating area (SOA) and thermal design limits 

• Experienced in cost optimized product design for serial production 

• Schematic/BoM capture experience (CAD) 

• PCB layout experience (CAD) 

• Heat sinking requirements and design experience 

• Wiring harness design and layout experience 

• Product certification and EMI/EMC compliance experience 

• Mixed signal / embedded system experience 

• Knowledgeable in the use of hand tools and electrical diagnostic equipment 

• Experience with electrical, and software troubleshooting 

• Attention to detail, time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills 

• Able to read electrical schematics, PCB layouts and mechanical drawings 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Motivated, confident, and comfortable with self-directed work 

• Comfortable with mechanical and electrical assembly shown by 10+ years experience

• A desire to be part of a clean tech company's success
