TP5 Research Cell

TP-5 is a robust development tool using well established materials, techniques and quick assembly features. These features make it ideally suited for Sample Screening, Research and Development and Educational purposes.

All cell connections are made to the compression fixture - not the cell. This allows quick change from cell to cell, improved test repeatability (because the test setup does not get disturbed between tests) and better utilization of your valuable test equipment.

Fluids are in contact with materials that have proven compatibility with PEM fuel cells. These include Ultem, Niobium, fuel cell grade Graphite, Stainless Steel and Silicone.

The sealing gaskets are simple and reliable and can accommodate MEA's that can often be bonded in your own labs. If replacement seals are needed they can easily replaced.

No tools are required for assembly/dissassembly and with the TP-5's integrated pneumatic bladder you will always be able to monitor cell compression. The cell can be pre-assembled independently of the compression hardware making cell changes very quick and easy.

The compression hardware can be integrated with the test station which can eliminate test to test variability since the setup does not change. It also dramatically decreases the time to swap in a new sample.

With the flexibility of being configured as a single cell or as a short stack (up to 4 cells), TP-5 is ready to go to work for you!
