WHO WE ARE


Ross Bailey, B.Eng., MBA, - President

Ross has over 12 years experience in the fuel cell and fuel cell test system business. Prior to joining Greenlight, Ross was the North American Business Development Manager for Hydrogenics Test Systems. His previous experience included 8 years at Ballard Power Systems in various engineering, leadership and project management roles. Ross has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Victoria and an MBA from Simon Fraser University. Ross is a Task Force Leader within the US Fuel Cell Council, and holds a number of patents pertaining to fuel cell manufacturing and testing.

 

Mark Olfert, PhD. Physics - Chief Technology Officer

Prior to joining Greenlight, Mark worked at Hydrogenics Test Systems as the Director of Engineering and untimately assumed therole of President. Prior to joining Hydrogenics, Mark spent a decade working in the automotive industry for Powerlasers Advanced Technology Center leading a design and integration team that built specialized automated laser welding equipment dedicated to high volume part production. Mark has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Victoria, and Masters and Doctorate degrees in Physics from the University of Waterloo.

 

Christian Bosio, BASc., P. Eng. - Director of Engineering

Prior to working with Greenlight, Christian was the Engineering Manager at Hydrogenics Test Systems.  He has 10 years of engineering experience, over eight of them in the fuel cell industry with Hydrogenics Corp.  Christian was a pioneer in the fuel cell test business as an early employee of Hydrogenics, and has held roles in engineering, technical sales support, testing, and project management.  As the primary subject matter expert, he brings technical expertise, leadership, and experience to Greenlight. Christian has a BASC from the University of Toronto.

 

Greig Walsh, B.Eng. - Director of Sales and Marketing

Greig has over 8 years experience in the fuel cell industry. Prior to joining the Greenlight team, Greig was responsible for regional sales of both the Hydrogenics test equipment and the Hydrogenics fuel cell products in Asia.  Greig was originally part of the sales team at Greenlight Power, prior to its buyout by Hydrogenics. Prior to joining Greenlight Power Greig held various engineering positions in the alternative fuels and automotive industries.  Greig has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Victoria.

 

David Rowat MBA, P.Eng. - Consultant

David has been Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of public and private companies. Working with over 50 companies as both a full-time employee and on contract through Strategic Catalysts, Inc., David has negotiated strategic partnerships, acquired companies, raised financing, written business plans, developed internal systems and provided strategic advice of all kinds to CEOs.
