Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description and Responsibilities:

We are growing and adding an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to develop, modify and test manufacturing processes for the electrical panels and systems for our automated test equipment.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain manufacturing standards and SOPs
  • Assess production processes and propose efficiency related improvements
  • Review product design to improve manufacturability
  • Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods and process capabilities
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Review system design outputs (P&ID and DTS) to ensure adherence to Greenlight electrical design guidelines
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs
  • Provide support to supply chain regarding vendor related issues
  • Lead cross-departmental corrective actions and improvement projects
  • Ensure equipment and user safety and compliance with North American and international safety standards
  • Create technical documentation for product manufacturing and software integration
  • Follow in place working and safety procedures
  • Other duties as necessary

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering related to power distribution, control circuits, layout, integration
  • 5+ years of Quality or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
  • Good investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Hands-on capability for product development, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Motivated by being a part of a clean tech company's success
