Greenlight Innovation, the leading global supplier of testing and diagnostic equipment to the fuel cell industry, announced today that it is now offering a new product line dedicated to the testing of electric vehicle (EV), hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) battery packs.
Since 1992, Greenlight has installed fuel cell testing equipment in the labs of virtually all of the world’s major fuel cell developers, with a total worldwide install base of 500+ machines. Greenlight is now adding high-power battery testing equipment to their extensive product list. The equipment will complement the existing product line and address growing interest in EV / HEV battery testing from Greenlight’s core customers; the automotive OEM’s. The product line will feature back-to-grid based load bank technology and will include software control for the implementation of standard drive cycles. Greenlight’s proprietary automation capability will allow for the development of unattended control scripts; an essential feature for R&D, durability and production testing equipment.
Greenlight test stations are capable of operating 24 hours a day, completely unattended, under fully dynamic operating conditions.
